Training and mentoring is a key part of our service to the Construction Industry in South Africa where we play an active role in addressing the skills shortage as well as ensuring that young professionals receives the necessary mentoring in the challenges we face.

Van Zyl & Associates’ training department has developed a course for Managing Construction Contracts with General Conditions of Contract.

The principal engineer of VZA, Theunis van Zyl, is the author of the book Managing Construction Contracts with General Conditions of Contract, published in 2009. This book is valuable for the growing consulting and construction industry to ensure that our young professionals are equipped for the demands of the contractual environment.
